Refueling at Sea

Approaching the oiler in the distance. You can see two ships refueling We are waiting our turn to refuel
Pulling along side the oiler As we pull along the port side of the oilier, another ship pulls to the starboard side of the oiler.

The ship to the starboard side of the oiler is also having a fund ride. The ship to the starboard side of the oiler is also having a fund ride.

The oil lines are hooked up so we can take on Navy special black oil. This has the consistency of tar and must be heated to efficiently pump. The swells really build between the ships. Keeping on course is critical!
